Now the last link of justice is about to be completed in this 25-year-old case.

Who is Raja Kolandar?

Raja Kolandar's real name is Ram Niranjan Kol. He is a resident of Shankargarh in Prayagraj district and was once an employee at the Central Ordnance Store (COD) Chivki in Naini. Murder of Manoj Singh and Ravi Srivastava

The case took a painstaking turn when Manoj's father, Shiv Harsh Singh, lodged an FIR, seeking justice for his son's untimely death. Despite the police filing a charge sheet in March 2001, the trial faced significant delays due to legal complications. It took an arduous 12 years for the trial to commence, prolonging the agony for the families of the victims. The case highlights the challenges in the Indian judicial system and the quest for justice in the face of bureaucratic and legal hurdles.

Earlier also he was sentenced to life imprisonment

Raja Kolandar has already been sentenced to life imprisonment in the case of murder of journalist Dheerendra Singh. During the investigation of the same case, 14 human skulls were found from his farmhouse. At the same time, the mystery of his being a cannibal was also revealed.

How was the case revealed?

According to the public prosecutor, the testimony of a total of 12 witnesses was recorded in the case. The most important among them was Shiv Shankar Singh, who told that his last conversation with Manoj and Ravi was in Harchandpur. Shiv Shankar also identified a brown coat of Manoj from the house of the accused, which became a strong evidence in the case.
